A Certified Legal Forensic Nurse (CLFN) is a nurse who uses their clinical knowledge to work behind the scenes with attorneys on medically complex legal cases.
Instead of working exhausting 12-hour shifts, dealing with unsafe staffing, and carrying the pressure of bedside nursing, a Certified Legal Forensic Nurse uses their expertise in a completely different way, by reviewing medical records, identifying red flags, reconstructing events, and translating complicated medical issues into clear, strategic facts attorneys can actually use.
This is not traditional bedside nursing. It is nursing knowledge used in a powerful, analytical role to:
A Certified Legal Forensic Nurse does more than summarize records. They analyze them. They look for what matters, what is missing, what does not add up, and what could change the direction of a case.
It is nursing knowledge, elevated.
Our graduates may go on to build businesses offering services that commonly range from $145 to $300 per hour, depending on background, specialty, experience, and the type of work performed.
Imagine using your nursing brain in a way that gives you more freedom, more control, and more respect.
You start your morning at home. No scrubs. No chaotic shift report. No hospital politics.
You open your laptop and begin reviewing records for an attorney, identifying red flags, organizing timelines, and uncovering details that could make a significant difference in the case.
Later, you jump on a quick call or Zoom to walk a law firm through your findings in plain English, helping them understand the medicine behind the case without the confusion.
Then you log off.
Maybe you head to the gym. Meet a friend for lunch. Pick up your kids. Work on your own schedule.
Take on the cases you want. Set your own rates. Build something that belongs to you.
You are still using your nursing knowledge in a meaningful way, but without the physical exhaustion, emotional drain, and constant pressure of bedside care.
This is the kind of career path that offers nurses more flexibility, more autonomy, more income potential, and a chance to use their experience in a way that feels strategic, respected, and sustainable.
This is what it looks like when nursing evolves. We are real nurses working in these exact roles, right now.

Your Certified Legal Forensic Nurse Journey, Made Simple for Busy Nurses
I know you are still working long shifts while dreaming about something more.
That is exactly why we have made this journey simple, step by step, and built for real life.
Here is how it works:
Phase 1 – Train (Your Legal Foundation)
We start with the basics, what I call your “minor in law.” You will learn key legal terminology, how the court process works, criminal defense basics, and important case types relevant to this field. No fluff, just the essentials every Certified Legal Forensic Nurse needs in order to speak confidently with attorneys. Approximately 8 hours of course content.
Phase 2 – Practice (Real Casework)
This is where everything starts to click. You will work through three real cases from start to finish, with step-by-step guidance on how to create reports attorneys actually want. After you submit your work, you will receive detailed feedback through video review so your reports become sharper, stronger, and more professional.
This phase is invaluable because your reports become your proof. Instead of chasing attorneys or feeling salesy, you will be able to show them exactly how you add value, and that is what opens the door to paid cases.
Phase 3 – Profit (Launch Your Business)
Now it is time to put it all together. You will use my ready-made templates, scripts, and swipe files to begin marketing and pitching your services. And when attorneys start calling, you will not be doing this alone. I will be right there by email, phone, or Zoom to help you respond strategically and land those first paid cases.
And through it all, you will have live workshops, unlimited one-on-one mentoring, and a private Certified Legal Forensic Nurse community cheering you on, so you never feel stuck or alone.
We are not just another "program". You are building the foundation for a business that can grow into something truly powerful, and we are with you every step of the way.
And yes, we are nurses too. We have been doing this work since 2009, and we continue to keep our students ahead with current, effective marketing strategies.
Booking is now open for nurses who want to learn more about the next Certified Legal Forensic Nurse cohort.
Please only book if you are serious about showing up. Cancellations and no-shows will not be allowed to rebook.
We reserve these calls for nurses who are actively exploring this opportunity and ready to have the conversation.
Our team will call you using the exact phone number entered on your booking form, so please make sure your information is accurate.

As a Certified Legal Forensic Nurse, you can step into a career path that offers more freedom, more respect, and a whole new way to use your nursing knowledge. Imagine reviewing medical records, analyzing case facts, and preparing reports for attorneys, all from the comfort of home, or even on an island somewhere.
No more 12-hour shifts. Just your nursing brain being valued in a completely different way.
Many Certified Legal Forensic Nurses go on to earn between $145 and $300+ per hour, with more complex cases often commanding higher rates.
Attorneys rely on your clinical insight to better understand the medicine behind the case, and your role becomes far more strategic than traditional nursing positions ever allowed.
And the best part is, you do not have to build this career alone. Those of us who forged this path in the beginning understand just how lonely it can feel to step into something new without support. That is exactly why we created this community. Inside this program, you will be surrounded by nurses who understand the journey, mentors who can guide you, and the kind of support that helps you keep moving forward with confidence.
This is more than learning a new skill. It is stepping into a flexible, sustainable career that actually fits your life, with a community behind you every step of the way.

From personal injury and malpractice to criminal defense and other medically complex matters, you will learn how to apply your skills across a wide range of legal work. With real-time guidance from nurses who have been doing this work since 2009, you will develop the precision, confidence, and versatility that make attorneys see you as a valuable part of the case.

By the time you finish, you will have completed three real cases, earned 47 continuing education hours, and developed the kind of practical experience that gives you something far more powerful than a piece of paper alone, actual proof of your training, your work, and your ability to perform in this role.

Your Certified Legal Forensic Nurse Journey: Train → Practice → Profit
I know you are busy, still working shifts, and trying to build something better in the middle of real life. That is exactly why we built this program to be clear, step by step, and deeply supportive from beginning to end.
Phase 1 – Train
Start with the foundation: legal terminology, court process, relevant case types, and how attorneys think. By the end of this phase, you will have what I call a “minor in law,” so you can speak your attorney clients’ language with more confidence and clarity.
Phase 2 – Practice
This is where it becomes real. You will work through three actual cases from start to finish, draft medical-legal reports, and receive detailed feedback from me and our nurse team, including recorded reviews created for you. This is the phase where you stop feeling like a student and begin stepping into your role as a Certified Legal Forensic Nurse.
Phase 3 – Profit
Now it is time to put everything into motion. With ready-made templates, scripts, contracts, and rate sheets, you will know exactly how to market yourself and respond when attorneys reach out. And you will not be doing it alone. We will be right beside you, helping you craft responses, think strategically, and navigate those first paid cases with greater confidence.
Your Certified Legal Forensic Nurse Community
From day one, you will be plugged into a private community of nurses on the same path.
Inside, we share support, strategy, subcontracting opportunities, marketing insight, and real wins, so you never feel like you have to figure this out by yourself. We know how lonely it can feel to build something new, because many of us forged this path alone in the beginning.
That is exactly why we created the kind of community we wish we had.
This is not just a place to log in and watch trainings. It is a real community. We host monthly challenges, raffles, book club discussions, live encouragement, and ongoing opportunities to stay connected, motivated, and moving forward with other nurses who understand exactly what you are building.
Ongoing Support That Does Not Stop
This is not a stagnant program. As the field evolves and content and marketing strategies shift, our course material is updated so you are not left learning outdated information or tactics that no longer work.
You will also have monthly live check-ins and training, along with one-on-one coaching whenever you need support. And yes, when we say support, we mean real support. We have helped nurses with active cases at 11:30 p.m. on a Saturday and even on Christmas Day.
If you are committed to us, we are committed to you.
Our Promise
We do not just teach and disappear. We stay close, we stay available, and we stay invested in helping you build the skills, confidence, and support system you need to truly step into this work.
This is more than training. It is mentorship, community, and real guidance from nurses who understand exactly what it takes to build this path.

This is more than a course, it is a career shift.
There are cheaper programs out there, but many leave nurses with no real case training, no strategic support, and no one to help them bridge the gap between learning and actually doing the work.
That is why so many nurses come to us after wasting time and money elsewhere.
When you step into this program, you are not just getting content. You are entering a serious training experience designed for nurses who want more: more skill, more support, more strategy, and a more powerful way to use their license.
We are intentional about who we invite into this space, which is why the first step is a call with our team. This gives you the opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and see whether this program aligns with where you want to go.
If you are ready for a more strategic, flexible, and elevated career path, book your call today.

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing. Provider #17837 for 47 Continuing Education Credits.
When continuing education courses are approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN), they often meet the criteria set by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). The ANCC's accreditation is nationally recognized and many state boards of nursing across the United States accept CE credits approved by ANCC-accredited providers. This widespread recognition means that courses approved by the California BRN, which align with ANCC standards, are generally accepted for CE credits in many other states. However, it's always advisable for nurses to confirm with their specific state board to ensure compliance with local continuing education requirements.
